About Us

We’re on a mission to eliminate health illiteracy in this generation and build a stronger, more resilient workforce. Lack of health knowledge and skills costs the economy trillions annually. When children receive little or inadequate health education it limits their capacity to become healthy, contributing citizens.

Educators and parents need resources to support youth health and well-being. Businesses need workers with the capacity to self-manage, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively. More broadly, we need leaders who can solve problems, respect differences, and think critically to make wise and ethical decisions. 

The Lessonbee Foundation is addressing these challenges at the root through culturally responsive health education that creates a foundation for success in work and life. We facilitate Lessonbee® digital health education curriculum access at home, in class, and through youth advisories to help young people navigate real-life choices, challenges, and conversations.

Our Health Education Heroes initiative promotes economic prosperity by preparing health teachers to implement Lessonbee in schools so that young people develop into healthy and contributing citizens. By aligning health education and workforce preparation efforts, we can create a healthier world for everyone.
